Today’s technological advances have made online communication a lot more thrilling, and easy too. All it takes is access to a computer, and you get to communicate with your old friends whilst you also make new ones. With the middle of 2010 approaching, so much more is expected as far as technology goes. Now is the time to embrace the available opportunities to make new friends online.

Making friends online is what everybody is doing today. Technology has made it not only very easy, but also, very convenient. You can meet many people from around the world just from sitting in front of your computer, if you ask me, that’s pretty cool. There is no more need to feel that making friends is a daunting task. Online, you can find people that are just like you: are interested in making friendships and whose common goals will bring you together instantly.

When you’re meeting someone for the first time, you know very little about them, and you aren’t very familiar with their hobbies, interests, quirks or pet peeves. Maybe you met them through a friend, at a coffee shop or at a bar, but either way, you want to make a good impression so that you can make this encounter blossom into a wonderful friendship.

It took me 6 years to finish my B.A. degree. That’s 2 or 3 years more than most people study (depending on the country and what they’re studying of course). Often times I joke that after studying for so many years I could have been a doctor by now. Lucky for me, I was young when I started, I finished high-school early, and started college at age 15. I did 3 years at community college, finished my A.S. and then had to restart when I began at a private college, one that I studied at for 3 years.

When you meet someone for the first time there are numerous normal emotions that you could be feeling. For instance, you could be feeling excited, nervous, anxious, curious, paranoid, scared, or, if you’re lucky, you could just be relaxed. Everyone takes a different approach when they meet someone new, but many people have mixed emotions, the one emotion that I find is normally consistent though, is nervousness. You should note, that this is very common and completely normal reaction.
